Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician

The Role:

Reporting to the Mechanical Forman, our Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians’

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Disassembly, remanufacture repair, assembly, installation and testing of major air conditioning
components for mining equipment.
- Commissioning and maintaining air conditioning systems on heavy equipment and haul trucks.
- Cleaning incoming cores and preparing components for inspection and quotation.
- Prioritize and schedule daily activities and inform trades people of repair procedures and
techniques when problems are encountered.

Qualifications:

- Requires journey level certification in the refrigeration and air conditioning technician trade.
-5 years experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of CWB, WCB, OH&S acts and regulations and equipment inspection requirements.
